Women Rising in Leadership
In December 2025, Elyon Women Initiatives, in partnership with the Ilmukutani Pastors’ Fellowship, gathered church and community women leaders in Mashuru, Kajiado East, for a two-day leadership and discipleship training. This gathering served as a foundational step toward the launch of a three-year Women Leadership and Empowerment Program (2026–2028).
Women from multiple church denominations participated, representing a wide range of ages and leadership roles, including pastors’ wives and women ministry leaders. Over 47 women attended the first day, engaging deeply in teaching, discussion, and prayer.
Training sessions centered on listening to the voice of God (John 10:1–14), biblical interpretation, spiritual gifts, women in ministry, and discernment. Facilitators emphasized identity in Christ, sound doctrine, and practical leadership for both church and community contexts. Translation support ensured accessibility for all participants.
This December gathering acted as a pre-training, preparing participants for the full Women Leadership and Empowerment Program launching in April 2026. Women expressed enthusiasm for ongoing mentorship, leadership development, and community impact in the years ahead.
