Growing in Confidence

Throughout 2025, Dignify the Girl continued to equip girls in Baringo County, Kenya with life skills, confidence, and spiritual grounding as they navigate adolescence and prepare for their futures.

Led by Elyon Women Initiatives, the program brought together girls from Grade 5 through college. Over the course of the year, more than 100 girls participated in sessions focused on identity, purpose, self-esteem, decision-making, emotional health, and career guidance.

August sessions emphasized understanding personal purpose and making informed choices, while December gatherings—though smaller due to the holiday season—continued to engage girls in discussions around stress management, peaceful coexistence, and responsible decision-making, all grounded in Scripture.

Female facilitators served as consistent role models, encouraging girls to trust in God, work hard, and pursue lives marked by dignity and resilience despite the challenges they face.
