A Marriage Enrichment Workshop

In November, the Maasai women leaders gathered together with their spouses for a 2-day Marriage Enrichment workshop held by our partners, ALARM-Kenya and Elyon Women Initiatives. 120 participants joined including 61 of the women who have been attending the 3-year Women’s Leadership Training and 59 of their spouses.

The aim of this training was to strengthen families by discussing various topics including Biblical foundation for godly relationships, effective communication, conflict management and resolution, and family finances.

Not only did this workshop equip these couples to grow in their marriages, it also broke through the patriarchal norm within this culture and brought both men and women together as equals to dialogue through these topics. We are grateful to the men who joined and are advocates for these women!
