A Joyful Close to the School Year

The 2024–2025 academic year has officially wrapped up at the Institute of Women for Excellence (IWE) in Rwanda, and there's so much to celebrate!

Despite financial hardships and the challenges that come with a growing student body, all 268 girls safely returned to school and completed the third term. The atmosphere was filled with hope and determination as 55 students prepared for national exams, supported by weekly Saturday test sessions and dedicated faculty.

Thanks to the generosity of Rise Up Woman International supporters, 11 vulnerable students received school fees in full this term. Because of you, they’re not just staying in school—they’re thriving.

"We praise God for the strong performance of the girls and the unwavering commitment of the teaching staff who worked tirelessly all year," shared a school leader.
