Women Strengthened Through Scripture
From July 28–31, our field partners at EASM facilitated the Women Discipleship and Economic Empowerment workshop in Iganga, bringing together women from 17 churches for biblical training and practical ministry equipping. Participants studied the Poetic Books, 1 & 2 Kings, 1 & 2 Chronicles, and the prophetic books from Isaiah to Ezekiel. The training emphasized understanding Scripture deeply, applying it to daily life, and strengthening women to disciple children, youth, and their churches with confidence.
Participant Reflections
Sarah — Children’s Church Leader
“I learned to support those who are suffering instead of condemning them, like Job’s friends. I now see the importance of understanding God’s Word before teaching it to the children and youth I disciple.”
Rose — Women’s Leader
“Proverbs taught me wisdom and discernment for daily living. These lessons will keep me spiritually awake so I can guide and lead others well.”
Thanks to the faithful work of EASM, women across Iganga continue to grow in biblical understanding, leadership, and confidence.
