Women Rising
In February, the 40 Ugandan women who are a part of the 3-year leadership development program gathered for a week that would shape far more than their futures—it would strengthen families, churches, and entire communities.
Through the Women Discipleship and Economic Empowerment Project, women stepped into a space designed to equip both their faith and their livelihoods. As they explored Scripture—from Daniel to the prophets—they were reminded of God’s faithfulness and His call to live with purpose, integrity, and courage.
At the same time, they gained practical tools to build sustainable businesses. Many arrived believing success required large capital. They left understanding something different: that transformation often begins with insight, discipline, and a willingness to start small.
One woman shared that she now sees business as a way to meet real needs in her community—not just earn income. Another discovered a renewed sense of identity and purpose, recognizing her gifts and how they can be used to serve both God and others. Others spoke of the importance of honesty, stewardship, and consistency—values that will shape not only their businesses, but their character.
Beyond the lessons, something deeper took root.
Women who once felt isolated found community. They encouraged one another, shared wisdom, and began dreaming bigger—together. Some are already envisioning new ministries, while others are preparing to launch businesses that will impact their families for generations.
What began as a training became a catalyst.
A catalyst for confidence.
For leadership.
For lasting change.
And as these women return home, they carry more than knowledge—they carry vision, purpose, and the courage to build something new.
