When Partnership leads to Deep Friendship.

Summer Impact: Rwanda & Kenya 2025

This summer, a team of 14 spent three weeks with partners and friends in Rwanda and Kenya, cheering on graduates, visiting farms and villages, and making friends across the world!

These moments aren’t one-offs—they’re momentum. Graduates are mentoring new cohorts, families have more steady incomes, and girls are staying in school. Bringing a team to see the work in action turns partners into friends because when you know each other’s names, you carry the mission together. This is why we go: to deepen relationships, celebrate what’s working, and come home with clearer eyes and bigger hearts!

Every moment mattered. The team enjoyed:

  • Celebrating 170 Graduates: 100 women in Rwanda and 70 Maasai women in Kenya completed our 3-year leadership journey—caps, gowns, testimonies, and tears of joy. What a joy for our team to be a part of!

  • Coffee Cooperative Day: From seed to cup, our team experienced the full coffee process firsthand. A true highlight!

  • Village of Forgiveness: Our team had the opportunity to hear testimonies of reconciliation from Genocide survivors and perpetrators. We have so much to learn from our friends around the world.

  • Pass-It-Forward Livestock & Farming: In Burera, piglets and improved techniques are multiplying impact—one household to the next. Our team got to witness the passing forward of 10 pigs to local farmers!

  • Community & Worship: Home visits, shared meals, and Sunday services reminded us that relationship is the goal.
