Food Relief for the Maasai

Kenya has been facing extreme drought, and in the Maasai region, these conditions have led the community to a vulnerable state with insecurity in food production and an increase in malnutrition. In partnership with ALARM-Kenya and Mercy Road Northeast, Rise Up came alongside this community and provided 480 families with food supplies. Because of this distribution, nearly 500 families were provided with food.

“‘I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink’ …then the King will say, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’” (Matt 25:34-40).
