A Trauma Workshop in Baringo

We are excited to share the success of our recent trauma workshop, which brought together 44 participants, including clergy, church leaders, and local administration representatives. The workshop aimed to equip attendees with mechanisms for recovery from the negative effects of stress and traumatic events, fostering hope amidst recurring violence in their community.

The workshop successfully provided pathways for recovery and instilled hope among participants. Recognizing the ongoing need for support and education, we are excited to announce plans for another session in May 2024. By then, we will have established deeper connections within the community, enabling us to delve into topics such as forgiveness, the village of Truth, Mercy, Justice, and Peace, and what reconciliation could look like for them.

Our commitment to empowering communities and fostering healing remains steadfast, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the community in May. Further training sessions will build upon the foundation laid during this workshop, empowering participants to navigate the complexities of trauma and conflict with resilience and hope.
