A New School Year
With 270 students beginning a new academic year, IWE School is celebrating academic achievements, expanding classrooms, and creating opportunities for the next generation.
There is so much to celebrate at IWE School in Rwanda!
As the 2026–2027 academic year begins, 270 students have returned to the classroom, ready for another year of learning, growth, and opportunity.
And they have some incredible achievements to build upon!
At the close of the previous academic year, 99 students sat for their national examinations, achieving an impressive 90% success rate! These results reflect the hard work of students, the dedication of teachers, and a school community committed to helping young people succeed.
But the excitement doesn't stop in the classroom.
IWE School has begun constructing two additional classrooms to provide more space for students and create an even better learning environment. These improvements represent an important step forward as the school continues to grow and strengthen the quality of education it provides.
One of the most encouraging signs of this growth is the continued confidence of families. Parents are choosing IWE School for their children, and new families continue to express interest in joining the school community.
Through our ongoing partnership with IWE School, Rise Up Woman International has the joy of supporting educational opportunities for students and celebrating the incredible work happening through local leadership. Behind every number is a young person with dreams, potential, and a future worth investing in.
As another school year unfolds, we celebrate the students, teachers, and leaders who are making education a pathway to opportunity and lasting transformation in Rwanda.
