Time With the Lawyers

On July 15th, we had the opportunity to sit with 3 of the Rwandan lawyers who represent the Christian legal clinic cohort.

This year Rise Up was able to do a matching grant for 17 lawyers to complete a government-certified mediation training.

We heard how this training is providing invaluable skills in bringing about restoration among parties battling civil issues. We were so overjoyed to hear of the commitment of each lawyer to take on six pro-bono cases. Their heart for resolving conflict and transforming relationships among disputants is extraordinary.

We are so grateful to be partnering with ALARM-Rwanda as we encourage, equip, and empower lawyers who are so passionate about promoting peace and reconciliation in their communities.
