Boosting Livelihoods

The Burera Farm Initiative continues to empower local farmers through agricultural training and pig farming. In 2024 alone, 258 small farmers were equipped with training and 122 NEW piglets were born into the community. As the pigs continue to reproduce, the recipients are required to pass forward one of the piglets to surrounding neighbors. In 2024, 11 NEW households received 1 piglet each.

This initiative is tangibly making a difference in the lives of the Burera community.
