DRC Tailoring School
Graduation Sewing Machines
This year, every dollar you give will double.
Empowering Students Creates a Lifelong Impact.
Training young adults in life skills and tailoring will open opportunities for income and self-sufficiency. 68 students are just finishing a 10-month tailoring training program that culminates with the students sitting for a local government-administered exam.
Upon completion of the program and passing the examination, the graduates receive a sewing machine and sewing kit. The start-up kit empowers these students to pursue a job or start their own business.
$150 buys a sewing machine and tailoring kit!
This year, your donation doubles!
So, every $75 donated = 1 sewing machine and tailoring kit for 1 student.
Rise Up partners with African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM) -DR Congo for this initiative.
